Mark began his business career as a Chartered Accountant and spent several years with a national accounting firm specializing in tax planning. In 1985, he joined ZLC to work alongside his father, Harold Zlotnik (1923 - 2008). He was the go-to guy for sound advice and answers to complex technical questions. He was the one you turned to for advice, whether personal or business. He was the most gentle, kind hearted, patient, and caring man. Mark was actively involved in many charities including King David High School, YMCA Endowment Fund, Haro Park Centre Foundation, Louis Brier Jewish Aged Foundation, B'nai B'rith, Vancouver Talmud Torah, Canadian Association of BGU Vancouver Chapter and Westside Warriors Football team.
